Who we are
Walker Sterling ("Walker Sterling", "we", "us") is a revenue infrastructure business operated by Wyatt Rasmussen. This policy explains what information we collect through walkersterling.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. You can reach us any time at contact@walkersterling.com or (507) 440-8759.
Information you give us
The only information we ask for directly is what you type into a form on this site. That is:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Whatever you tell us about your business in the message field
Our forms work by opening your own email application with the details pre-filled, so nothing is submitted until you press send in your email app. When you do, that message is delivered to our business inbox and stored there.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one collects a limited amount of technical information as you browse — the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, the type of device and browser you use, and the site or search that sent you here. This comes from two places:
- Google Analytics 4 — an analytics service from Google that tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, and which pages lead to enquiries. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. You can read Google's own explanation at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out entirely using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Framer — this website is built and hosted on Framer, which keeps standard server logs in order to serve and secure the site.
We do not use this information to identify you personally, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to do exactly one thing: respond to you and, if you want it, carry out the work you asked about. Specifically, to reply to your enquiry, schedule and run your Revenue Bottleneck Diagnostic, prepare your findings and roadmap, quote any follow-on work, and keep normal business records of that engagement. We use the automatic information described above to understand which parts of the site are working and to fix the parts that aren't.
Contacting you
When you send us your details you are asking us to get in touch, so we will — by email, phone, or text message, using the contact details you provided. We contact you about your enquiry and your engagement, not with marketing blasts. If you would rather we stopped, say so in a reply, reply STOP to a text, or email contact@walkersterling.com, and we will stop. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply to text messages.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise hand your information to anyone for their own marketing. We do not share what you tell us about your business with your competitors.
Who else may see your information
Only the service providers we need in order to operate — the email provider that carries our correspondence, Framer as our website host, and Google Analytics as described above. Each of these handles data on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become engagements are kept for up to two years so we recognise you if you come back. Records relating to actual engagements are kept for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the add-on linked above, or block cookies in your browser settings. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR — email us and we will honour them.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and access to our inbox and records is protected by strong authentication. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable measures to keep what you send us safe.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made obvious.
